The Hampshire Genealogical Society Bookstall regularly attends family history fairs, heritage events and local shows across Hampshire and beyond.
Whether you’re just beginning your family history journey or have been researching for many years, we’d be delighted to welcome you. Our volunteers enjoy meeting fellow family historians and are always happy to chat about research, offer guidance and suggest ideas that may help you make your next discovery.

One of the greatest benefits of visiting our bookstall is the opportunity to speak with experienced HGS volunteers. We know that every family history is different, and we’re always happy to discuss your research, answer questions and point you towards useful resources, including our own in-house research team.
Sometimes a short conversation is all it takes to help unlock a long-standing brick wall.
