Bookstall Events

HGS attends a selection of Family History Events each year. These provide an opportunity to pick-up some family history gems from our range of HGS Publications, together with other books, maps and guides we carry to these events.

At such events the Bookstall staff are assisted by some of our Volunteers who will be delighted to help you with your family history research and discuss ideas and offer insights that may help you progress your research.

The current calendar of events we plan to attend in the coming months is listed below.

Recognising that the bookstall cannot be at every Family History event all items are also available some bookstall items through our main website. Thus you are now able to buy these items through the website at any time, rather than only at Bookstall attended events.

• The Alan Godfrey Historical Maps series, covering parts of Hampshire and the Isle of Wight
• The Eve McLaughlin Guide series

We are aiming to expand our range of Bookstall items available through the website as we progress.
