The Village Booklet on Liss (VB054) explores this ancient Hampshire village, north of Petersfield.
The village was an important place from the time of King Alfred and has an intriguing past. The coming of the railway to Liss saw the village expand, as did its proximity to the military establishments at nearby Bordon.
