The parish is located on the A32 that runs from Alton which is 4 miles to the north. Part of the village, including the old schoo; and school house, and the church sre located along or near this road although the main part of the village is half a mile to the east on Station Road wgere the old Meon Valley railway line from Alton to Fareham used to run.
