Les began his genealogical journey over 15 years ago. He studied with the Institute of Heraldic and Genealogical Studies [IHGS] and gained the Higher Certificate in Genealogy and in 2009 the Diploma in Genealogy (DipGen). He is now the Director of Training at the IHGS. Les runs his own genealogical business, and he tutors and gives talks on the subject.He is a member of AGRA, and was elected to the AGRA Council in 2015 and became the vice-chair in May 2017.
