September 6, 2023Sarah is a professional genealogist and AGRA Member with 20 years’ experience in family history research and holds the Diploma in Genealogy from The Institute of Heraldic and Genealogical studies. Her previous career as a solicitor befits specialist interest in the array of legal records available to help research both family history and house history, in particular those of the Manorial Courts and Equity courts such as the Chancery Court.
This talk will provide an introduction to Manorial Records: what they are, why use them, and where to find them. Sarah will also include some of the key challenges they can present and how to overcome them.
